Do I need Shopify?
No. Segments, broadcasts, sequences and comment automations work with any contacts in IcloneU — imported or collected from conversations. Purchase-based filters like lifetime spend and last order need a connected store, such as Shopify.
Which channels can I send on?
Broadcasts and sequences go out on WhatsApp using Meta-approved templates — created, submitted and tracked inside IcloneU, with Meta charging its own per-message fee — or by SMS to contacts who opted in to texts. Email campaigns are sent through your own Klaviyo, Mailchimp or Flodesk account, so your sender reputation and unsubscribes stay where they are. Comment and DM automations run on Instagram and Facebook.
Won't this end up spamming my customers?
It's designed not to. Sequences respect quiet hours and re-entry cooldowns and pause when a customer replies; customers leave as soon as they reach the goal; opted-out contacts are excluded; and you can cap how many people a broadcast reaches.
What happens when a customer replies?
